Virgin London Marathon 2010 · 25 April 2010 ·

We’re the National Deaf Children’s Society. We're the charity for deaf children with any level of hearing loss. Whatever the question or challenge, we’ll help find a way through. We believe in a world where anything is possible for deaf children.

Story

Following the pure enjoyment of running 26.2 miles last year I thought why not, lets do it all again.  I decided to run again for the National Deaf Childrens Society, in the 12 months since last years run my little boy has started mainstream school and the support he has received has meant he has fitted in very well with all the hearing children.  His language has come on leaps and bounds and he loves being with all the other kids at school.

If by slogging my guts out again 6 days a week and running a few hundred miles allows another child to be able to fit in as well as he has and to have that opportunity then it it will be worth it.

Please feel free to donate as much as you like I will gladly accept all your money.

Please also take a look at my blog which is highlighting the day to day joy of training for this marathon - www.daveslondonmarathon.blogspot.com.

Thanks very much
