Hearing Dogs for Deaf People trains dogs to alert deaf people to important and life-saving sounds such as the smoke alarm, alarm clock, intruder alarms and baby monitors. These amazing dogs also help deaf people to leave loneliness behind by providing love, companionship and emotional support.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

For the 3rd and 'FINAL' time I am embarking on the stupidity that is running the London Marathon. This year we are supporting Hearing Dogs for Deaf People. It is a charity we came across late last year which provides, funnily enough, Hearing Dogs for Deaf People. One of the things this charity does is provide dogs to children between 7 & 14. Knowing what it is like for a deaf child and the frustration that can be felt from not being able to communicate as easily as a hearing child anything that aids is a godsend. Knowing what a difference a dog has made to these children is tremendous and as usual if putting myself through a bit of pain for a few months can help this then it is worth it.

Please dig deep it is most definately worth it.
