Thanks for visiting my fundraising page....let me tell you briefly what I'm trying to do.

Last year I completed my first trail race running 15k up and down hills in Coniston. The picture on the left shows me before that race - I was looking a lot less comfortable at the end! This year I have entered a series of 5 tough trail races around Cumbria (all very hilly and distances up to 24k) culminating in the Helvellyn Trail Race in November. I will need to train hard throughout this year to complete them all.

To keep motivated I am aiming to raise £5000 for 5 Big Runs! There are many great causes out there but I am supporting TOYBOX. This charity does amazing work in Latin America rescuing street children from the most desperate situations. Many lives have been transformed through their work.
