Maggie's Centres help people adjust to living with cancer. Its pioneering support programme has been developed for patients, their carers, family and friends. Each centre is located close to an NHS hospital and they have been designed carefully and imaginatively to make sure people feel at home.

My personal message:

Hello & Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

The Maggie's centre in Glasgow is located at the Beatson, West of Scotland Cancer Ward.  My mum was treated for cancer at the Beatson, and visited Maggie's centre too.

I took part in the Monster Challenge in memory of my mum, Marion, who sadly passed away in January this year.  All money raised will go directly to Maggie's in Glasgow.

I successfully completed the gold standard distance event (30 mile mountain bike followed by 43 mile run/hike) with my team mate Greg White.  The time we posted was 14 hours & 52 minutes & boy was I glad to see the finish line!

Now you know that I completed the challenge, please dig deep and sponsor me online for this fantastic cause.
