My story

Hi,  I am walking the 630 mile South West coast path which is the longest walking trail in the country.

Starting at Minehead on the 6th February 2009, to raise funds towards Rowcroft Hospice in Torquay, Devon.  My walk hopefully will be completed in four possibly five stages of 130 miles. Walking the four seasons, winter, spring, summer and autumn and camping each night.

Having had surgery for prostate cancer I am indeed furtunate to be able to do this walk and I hope that you will be able to contribute to Rowcroft Hospice for the wonderful work that they do in hospice care and support.

So if you see me come and say hello but please make sure that the sea is on my right otherwise it means that I will be going the wrong way!

This proved to be a difficult section as the weather deteriorated. Another seven nights camping making 48 nights overall.Thankyou to my tent (reggie green!)  Darrell joined me for the final 50 miles, thanks for the company Daz and for the £220 raised for Rowcroft by your friends. Now a special thankyou to all who contributed on the walk, for the cups of tea, bacon sandwiches and places to camp even in back gardens. also tnanks for the verbal support that helped after a very wet 18 mile day.  The rain gave problems with mud, we found sliding towards the cliff edge a bizzare experience(Kimmeridge area. So thanks once again to friends ,family and complete strangers for all your support.
