Hey folks,
As you all probably know by now i am attempting to run this years London marathon on the 26th April 2009.
Are you Mad? I hear you say. Well as I'm over 16 stone, never run this distance before and the furthest I've run so far is 13 miles (and even then I struggled).... I suppose the answer to your question is YES!!
But I'm hoping my madness will help to raise money for the British Heart Foundation. This is a worthy charity which does a lot of important work and is also close to home as my nan passed away 4 years ago after suffering with heart problems.
I have set myself a target of raising £1,000. Any contributions will be greatly appreciated and will help me to dig deep and find the energy to make it to the finishing line knowing that its all for a good cause.
