On April 26th, I joined 36,000 others to run around the streets of London. Your support and sponsorship gave me the strength to complete the 26 miles and 365 yards and cross the finishing line despite the hot conditions. When I began running 18 months ago, I couldn't imagine running even a half marathon, now you have helped me complete the world's most famous endurance event.
The vision of the British Heart Foundation is of a world in which people do not die prematurely of heart disease. They will achieve this through pioneering research, vital prevention activity and ensuring quality care and support for everyone living with heart disease.
