Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

For many years I have considered running a  Marathon with two provisos   – firstly it had to be the London Marathon and secondly I had to do it before my 35 Birthday. I am pleased to say I have got the first part right but missed the age thing, by a couple of years or so!

With less than 4 weeks to go, it is becoming clear that winning it may just be out of my grasp this year and therefore to help ease the aches and pains and make the blisters a little more worthwhile, I thought I would take the opportunity to raise some money for the Wallace and Gromit’s Grand Appeal, the charity for Bristol Children’s Hospital and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Your support would be very much appreciated and I know the extra pressure of raising money for such a good cause, will I am sure help the last 26 miles go by, so much more easily - (I am quietly confident about the first few hundred yards!).

Thank you in anticipation for all your help and support.

David

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Royal Hospital For Children Bristol Appeal Limited gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Thank you

Good luck and knock them dead. Don't forget to arrive in time for the starting gun. Donation by Guy Timberlake on 03/04/09
