About my charity : The Marina Dalglish Appeal The Marina Dalglish Appeal
The Marina Dalglish Appeal raised £1.5million for a centre of Oncology at University Hospital Aintree which opened in June 2007. We have now set ourselves a new and exciting challange in conjunction with Clatterbridge Centre for Oncology to help build a much needed Radiotherapy Centre in the Liverpool area, bringing the treatment closer to the patients.

Hello all,

Thanks for clicking through and welcome to my fundraising page for the 2008 Boston Marathon.

I'm running in aid of the Marina Dalglish Appeal this year, a charity local to my home town in Liverpool. The information below left gives you an idea of who they are and what they do. While any cancer research charity deserves our support and fundraising efforts, the current challenge facing The Appeal is especially important to our family and to many others in the North West of England, so I really appreciate anything you can give.

If you're outside the UK you can just as easily donate using a credit card. Just remember that GBP1 is approximately US$2.
