Doing the JOGLE (John O’ Groats to Land’s End) for me is a real opportunity to take part in a unique team event and make the journey.  I have been linked to the University for a long time, I cycle to work every day and spend some of my spare time looking for new mountains to cycle or climb up.  It seemed an obvious commitment to make and I am enjoying the prospect and some of the training.

The Sue Ryder Research Centre is an exciting new development which has relevance to my work in cancer care, the opportunity therefore to support this research development in this way is a strong motivator.  I am particularly looking forward to cycling with the Children’s Brain Tumour Research Centre supporters on 3September, see you in Worksop or the University Campus on the way to Sutton Bonnington.
