<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>As&nbsp;many of you may know, my youngest daughter Jessica was born with a type of birthmark. It covers around 40% of her body and requires 6-monthly checks at hospital as there is a chance of the melanocytes in the affected skin&nbsp;becoming cancerous.&nbsp;</p> <p>Research into the causes and possible "cures" for these birthmarks currently costs around &pound;45,000 per year and is carried out by Dr Veronica Kinsler at Great Ormond Street Hospital.</p> <p><a></a>Given the costs of&nbsp;<a></a><a></a>funding the research I, and some other intrepid souls connected with the support group set up to assist those affected&nbsp;(CaringMattersNow), have agreed to climb Mt Kilimanjaro.</p> <p>I cannot stress enough how grateful I would be to all of you for helping me "top-out", not just in terms of the funds raised but because without your support I will not be able to complete the climb.</p> <p>So,&nbsp;please dig deep and donate now.
