<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.</p> <p>On Friday 20th April, the children, staff, governors, friends and parents of the Dawnay School, Bookham will be participating in a sponsored '24 hour Olympic Torch Relay'. The children from each class have designed obstacle relay courses and will be carrying their own class Olympic Torch round their courses at school and then through Bookham village collecting donations throughout the school day. During the evening and throughout the night, we have recruited volunteer friends and parents who will continue the relay by walking the streets of Bookham and the school grounds until early Saturday morning when some of the children will return to complete the final hours over their relay courses back at school.</p> <p>It promises to be great fun for all involved! The funds raised will be put towards stocking the new library and the re-design and refurbishment of part of the Junior school to create a 'home' room for use by all the children. In addition, the children have also chosen to donate a proportion of the funds raised to two other charities, CHASE children's hospices and Aprender.</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
