Story
Hello! And thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
Having overcome both Hodgkin's Disease and Breast Cancer I went on to successfully complete my very first GNR last year in 2h55 :-) exactly 4 months to the day after undergoing bilateral breast reconstruction, raising funds for the local oncology unit.
This year I am running in memory of friend and colleague Rachel Crees. Rachel lost her battle against Breast Cancer in April 2009, aged 63. Throughout her treatment Rachel remained positive and was determined to make the most of every opportunity to enjoy life. She passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side. Click on the photo link to see Rachel in the environment she loved most.
All donations are gratefully received and will be passed on to Breakthrough Breast Cancer in Rachel's memory.
Thank you for your support
