Story
Hi Guys,
I am running my 3rd London Marathon again this year but hopefully considerably quicker than last year!
I am running upto 100 miles per week in training and aiming to finish under 2.40, so if I can put this effort in I am sure you guys can see your way to helping me raise money for a VERY worthwhile charity that is close to home. Unfortunately I have been injured quite a bit since the end of March but I'll be doing my very best.
Many of you will know that my close friends Andy & Amanda Campbell have a son Joshua who is severely disabled. They use an amazing local facility called PARC which gives disabled children a brilliant fun time and gives their carers a welcome break. PARC cannot operate without the kindness and generosity of people like you and me.
Having been to visit PARC it's an amazing place and to directly see where your kind donations are being spent (literally where the money raised is going) makes all the hours of training worthwhile.
So in the words of Sir Bob Geldof ... 'Give us yer fookin moonee' !
For more info on PARC and the support it gives disabled children, please visit their website here - http://parc-essex.co.uk/children_in_need.html
Thanks again for your generosity
