We help improve Cardiac Care to support people with heart conditions

Story

Over the past two years sponsors of my personal challenges have funded Wessex Heartbeat's new project “Your Healthy Heart”. I’ve undertaken some big challenges such as the Just Walk 60k, the Wessex Cycle Festival and the Wight Challenge.

This year I thought I’d need a little help, so Domino my black Cocker Spaniel is joining me as we walk the South Downs Way: 105 miles from Eastbourne to Winchester.  It would be great to have your support. Together I would like to fund the running of Heartbeat House for a week.  As you can imagine if your loved one is being treated in the cardiac centre you’d like to be as near to them as possible and frequent lengthy journeys to and from hospital can not only be stressful, but also expensive.  Heartbeat House offers a comfortable home away from home only two minutes walk from the hospital.  It is free for as long as is needed and relatives find support and encouragement along with a much needed cup of tea!
