It exists to empower deaf people by offering them access to new and innovative technologies. Through this, we have seen literacy skills and self-confidence improve and feelings of isolation and inadequacy reduce. <br /><br />We know from experience that technology can remove barriers to achievement enabling deaf people to fulfil their ambitions and integrate into the wider community. <br /><br />Deafax specialises in creating, developing and delivering <strong>visual, deaf-friendly resources</strong>. Once we have produced a resource we create a workshop or training package around it. This can then be delivered by the Deafax team or can be used by others to deliver the training themselves. <br /><br />Deafax has a small team of staff all of whom work to ensure we deliver a big impact!</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
