Thank you for  taking the time to visit my online fundraising page.

I have set up this page to help raise as much money as possible for the breast cancer campaign.  It specialises in funding independant breast cancer research in the U.K

My motivation for this fundraising event is my very special mother.  She survived this terrible illness 18 years ago this year, and has worked tirelessly since with the Derby Breast Cancer Support group, to raise money for equipment, aids and support for ladies undergoing treatment.  Hopefully making their time throughout treatment a little easier.

So now it's my time to give something back.  Hopefully this small gesture will help other families overcome this terrible illness and raise loads of money for research and a cure.

So in celebration of  Marilyn (my fantasic mum), Caroline MacKenzie, all the ladies at Derby Breast Cancer Support Group and in memory of Pearl.  Please dig deep and sponsor me, I know it will make all the difference.

I would also like to dedicate this page in memory of my brother-in-law Mark.  Who died 23rd April 2008.  Mark was hoping to travel to New York with Carl to cheer me on. 

Fund raising update:  Big thank you to Joy for the money raised from the afternoon tea she organised at chapel.  A big thankyou to all who have donated and supported to date.

I would like to say a massive thankyou to the Firemen and women at Ripley fire station, along with family and friends who donated their time  and efforts with a charity car wash.  We raised loads of cash and had a lot of fun at the same time.  Also thanks a million to Nigel for all the printing he donated to advertise the car wash.
