Flora London Marathon 2009 · 26 April 2009 ·

Every two hours, someone in the UK will become paralysed. Globally, it is estimated that 15.4 million people are living with paralysis. At Spinal Research our vision is to create a world where paralysis can be cured, no matter when the injury occurred or where in the world.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I will be taking part in the Flora London marathon to raise funds for spinal research.

My best friend Paul "Killer" Kilbride was paralysed whilst playing rugby league over 13yrs ago . It highlighted how lives are affected in such a dramatic way in a split second. It not only has an immediate affect on the individual but also their families.

I hope to raise over £1500 towards research so that one day a cure can be found .

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Spinal Research gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
