We have each set ourselves a different challenge to raise money this year in aid of Diabetes UK.  

This is a charity that is close to our hearts due to having a number of family and friends who have diabetes.  

I am going to be attempting to walk 100km of the Thames path in under 30 hours on the weekend of 10th September. I shall be starting at Putney Bridge and finishing at Henley-on-Thames.  http://www.thamespathchallenge.com/

Owen decided this was not for him!!!! so he is going to be taking part in the Rusty Rex Banger Rally with Mark Pollard in July. They have to drive a car worth no more than £300 from Reims through the Alps taking in 5 countries to include 9 Alpine passes  finishing in Nice.
