On Sunday 25th October 2009 we will be jogging our way round Bishopbriggs to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care in memory of John Logie, whom many of you will also have known, who recently lost his life to cancer, having spent his last few months in the Marie Curie Hospice at Stobhill.

The Church community meant a great deal to John and so we have decided to run a route right here in Bishopbriggs.  We are pledging to run past every house in Bishopbriggs where members of Bishopbriggs Community Church live!  (We have used the 2008 Church Directory to compile our route - please let us know your address if you are not listed in this and we'll extend our route to include your house!).  We will do the run on the morning of 25th October, finishing by arriving at Church at some point during the morning service. 

So, that's our challenge... but here's yours!  How far do you think we will have run?  Please put your guess (in kilometers) in the message you write when you sponsor us and we'll award a prize to the closest estimate!
