Every year many of us are affected by someone close to us being diagnosed with cancer. In Kent alone last year, around 1,500 people were given this devastating news. MacMillan relies on around 99% of its income from various voluntary sources - from coffee mornings to legacies.
After raising £1,000,000, this year saw the opening of the new MacMillan Centre at Medway Maritime Hospital; some raised by the generosity and commitment of individual fundraising appeals.Our climb begins on the 23rd January, 2010 and will take 6 days.
