Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I DID IT!!!!!

4 hours and 2 minutes.

What an amazing experience.  The atmosphere was fantastic and the crowds which lined every inch of the route really dragged me around.  I found it tough, never thought about it been such a hot day but  it was well worth all the hard work.

I feel really privilege to have been part of such a great thing and to be able to have shared the experience with 36 thousand other runners who all had their own personal reason for doing the marathon.  I feel even more privileged to have such great friends and family who have supported me and held me raise money for the Lymphoma Association.

I did the London Marathon for two reasons the first and the most important is to help raise awareness and money to help with the treatment and research of Lymphoma.

Over the last year I have watched a close friend battle through endless hospital visits and  seen him endure lots of treatment and tests.  Not only has he gone through a horrible, horrible time but his wife and two young children have been there every step of the way and I am sure that they have felt all his pain too.  I am glad to say that things are looking good at the moment, however only time will tell.

The second reason for this is a personal battle at the age of 13 I was picked to represent the English schools, however due to my own personal health reasons I had to stop running.  It was always a dream to do this and after years of watching it on TV and been inspired I am going to be with the MASSES!!

Thank you to all of those who donate.

Love and hugs
