WE DID IT!!!!!

I completed my first Race For Life along with my mum @ Trentham Gardens, Staffordshire yesterday, 9th June 2009

Why did we doing it??

On April 1st 2008, my nana passed away.  She had been diagnosed with stomach cancer only weeks before she died - the money that I raise by participating in the Race For Life will automatically be donated to Cancer Research UK and help the very worthwhile charity.

Loosing my nana has left a massive hole both mine and my mums life....a hole that cannot be filled by anyone else.  I know most people think their Grandma's are special - but mine really was!

On the 8th may 2009, my husbands grandad passed away from stomach cancer - another reason to make me even more determined to do this Race for Life.

If we can raise just a small amount of money to help other people suffering with cancer and to give them the hope of life with their families then every inch of the Race For Life will be worth it.
