Well everyone, we finally did it! We had the joy of spending our Sunday morning running through the delightful Sefton Park (in the rain) and wondering why oh why we agreed to do this. There were times when we felt like passing out, and there was that scary crucial finishing line moment when panic sets in and you wonder if your hair really does look as terrible as you suspect it does (the crowd was taking pictures people!), but overall it was great fun, challenging, and slightly demoralising when a 64 year old women overtook Debby 10 metres away from the finishing line.....
