Ten years ago my beautiful sister passed away from a particularly aggressive form of leukaemia.

Karen's legacy and inspiration lives on not just in those who knew her but those who were not fortunate enough to meet her.  The KMMT was set up to continue the good work that Karen started and I am excited to say that we have just raised one million punds and my efforts with this event will kick start the fundraising for our second million.

So what am I doing to deserve you parting with your precious money?  I am taking part in the 10K Bupa run on 25th May in London.  I am starting from scratch, I feel like I am as unfit as you can get these days but they do say "no pain no gain". 

More importantly I am doing this for Karen who I miss every single day, I hope she will be smiling down on me watching my attempts to get to the finish line and laughing at my wobbly bottom.
