Help to beat cancer.

My family, like many has been affect by cancer. Both my maternal grandparents lost their fight against Breast Cancer. My mum is currently fighting (and winning against) this nasty cancer. My Aunt has beaten breast cancer. The fight for our family and many like us goes on.

Amy, my 5 year old daugher will be running the Mini Great South Run, whilst Husband Simon will be running in the main event, the Great South Run (a whopping 10 miles). And I will be running (yes running) the Great South 5k in October 2012.

This is a massive step forward for me as in July I couldn't run to the loo, such was my level of fitness. I made the decision following my mums diagnosis to turn my life around and have lost nearly 3 stone and am following the couch to 5k plan and getting better every day.
