Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I have teamed up with 3 primary colleagues and together we are undertaking the challenge of trekking to Everest Base Camp during the first 3 weeks of April. We are hoping to establish links with the school in Khumjung, set up by Sir Edmund Hilary (Himalayan Trust UK). They will be celebrating their Golden Jubilee this year!
For my challenge I have elected to support the Mercy Rescue Trust a baby rescue centre in Kitale, Kenya, together with the Pearl of Africa choir from Uganda.
We were visited at Richard Lander in November 2010 by the amazing Pearl of Africa choir and were humbled by their dedication, hard work and motivation. Their singing and dancing are inspirational and the school has selected the choir as a charity we wish to support.
