Hello Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I'm taking part in the annual Stonewall Brighton Equality Walk (10km) on Sunday 4th May 2008. (Also 17th May is International Day Against Homophobia!) Stonewall is a UK charity that campaigns for equal rights for gay and bisexual men and women. Some major successes include helping achieve the equalisation of the age of consent and securing legislation allowing same-sex couples to adopt. More recently Stonewall has helped secure civil partnership and ensured the recent Equality Act protected lesbians and gay men in terms of goods and services Stonewall receives no public funding and raises all its money itself in a range of ways including donations, sponsorship and fundraising events. So, please dig deep and sponsor me online in support of the continuing effort to secure equality for gay men and women.
