Sadly my mum passed away last year from this terrible, debilitating syndrome. She was in hospital for 5 months and remained positive and witty throughout. The GBS support group offers support to people like me in many different ways. I am aiming to raise money to help support other families and friends of sufferers, and to fund further research, as no-one can yet identify why people are struck down with GBS.
