My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Myself, my cousins and their children are taking part in a 3 mile walk in aid of Headway Essex. The charity is based in Colchester and provides rehabilitative care to survivors of brain injuries.

The charity has personal meaning for our family and this is just a very small way of saying thank you to them.

Imagine waking up and not recognising your own child, not remembering your family or friends and having to re-learn your life Headway Essex cares for people who have acquired a brain injury and this may be through sporting or work accidents, road traffic accidents, assault, illness or disease.
