My story
16 Jan 2012 Update: I finished the 21km half marathon yesterday in a new personal best of 2:00:28. Thank you very much for your support. So far I have raised £7,144 and my still trying to get to my target of £7,500. It isn't too late to donate and I promise Magic Bus will put your contribution to very good use.

Jan 2012 Update: Like in a marathon, I have decided to push myself and have increased my fund raising target from £5,000 to £7,500. Please be generous and support a wonderful charity.

I am running my second half marathon (21 km) in a few weeks on Sunday 15 Jan 2012 in the SC Mumbai Marathon. I ran my first half marathon last year at the same event and did a time of 2:10:44 beating my target of 2:15:00. My target this year is to beat last year's time of 2:10:44.
Once again I am running for the one charity I have been supporting over the last 9 years, the wonderful Magic Bus. Last year you, my family, friend and supporters, helped me raise £ 4,630. This year my target is to raise £ 7,500.
Magic Bus is a non-profit organisation in India that works with children living in some of the most marginalised circumstances in the world. You can get more information at www.magicbusindia.org. Any amount,small or large, can help change lives and make a difference. I only ask that you be generous and give what you can.

Magic Bus is a registered charity creating a world class personal and social education programme for at-risk children living in highly marginalised circumstances in India. The programme places role models in the children's lives to mentor them through their childhood. Magic Bus uses activity based learning to tackle issues like gender discrimination, communication skills, HIV awareness and self-esteem.
