The DegreeArt.com Awards (formerly known as the ‘DegreeArt.com Scholarship’) were founded in 2006 by Bill Abraham and

DegreeArt.com. The Awards has now reached its first target of £4000.

The funding has been donated directly to the University of Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design (CSM) for the purpose of:

- Promoting the course in Foundation Studies in Art and Design at CSM

- Encouraging applications from students unable to finance

themselves through this course, and who will benefit from the

Foundation Course to realise their full potential through progression

to a higher education course in art and design

The awards will be available to four students who have been

accepted for study on the Foundation course in the academic year

2007/2008.

The criteria for each of the four awards shall be for those applicants

who can demonstrate financial difficulties.

 

This year we hope to also raise at least a further £4000 to support another four artists in the Foundation year of study.
