Della and Kevin are embarking on an adventure! We are taking part in the London to Paris Bike Ride in September 2010. The ride is 244 miles over three days, arriving in Paris on the 12th September.

Stroke is the third biggest killer in the UK and is the leading cause of adult disability. The affects of stroke are devastating, not only for the stroke patient, but their families too. Stroke and its affects have had a big impact on our family, Kevin has suffered 2 strokes, the last being just over 3 years ago and he had to work very hard to regain his mobility - cycling played a big part in his recovery. My father had a stroke 5 years ago but unfortunately has not regained as much mobility, but he has a great spirit and I love him to bits. My grandfather also suffered several strokes and sadly they cost him his life.

Participating in this fund raising event means a great deal to both me and Kevin so any and all donations to this great cause will be greatly received - the money raised will help The Stroke Association provide the help and support stroke patients and their families desperately need.
