We did it; me and my best mate Jim Shelston competed 76 miles in about 5 and a half hours. Really grateful for Jim's support. The look on my mum and dad's faces was worth all the pain!

Some of you may know that my mum has a very rare type of dementia which affects her cognitive behaviour. On the 17th October she will be 70 years young and I wanted to give her a birthday present with a little difference!
My home is exactly 70 miles from my mums house so, on that day, I'm going to cycle over to wish her a happy birthday and I wanted to ask you to join me on this journey by sponsoring me for every mile of her age.
All the money raised will be going to the Alzheimers Society to help stop others getting what my mum has...let's hope the weather's fine (and it is a westerly wind!).
