Yes, once again I'm running the London Marathon, and this time round I have chosen a truly awesome charity to support.

WaterAid works in 17 of the world's poorest countries across Africa, Asia and the Pacific, helping to overcome extreme poverty by giving people access to safe water.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: WaterAid gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

The media is full of doom and gloom about the economy, and like many of the people who know me, I have felt the effects of the so-called 'credit-crunch', and I know how important saving those pennies are...

I am asking everyone who knows me to give just a pound to this incredible cause, and in return I will run almost 26-and-a-half miles in London on April 26th 2009.
