POLE IN ONE!

This year’s Wentworth Club Charity 'Thames Valley Hospice Care' will benefit from all donations marking Dennis Woods and Alan Bussey's North Pole expedition in April.
Dennis and Alan, both Golf and Tennis members, have been on a training expedition to Minnesota and have put in many hours at the Wentworth gym to prepare for the arduous trek across the polar ice. They expect to take around 18 days to complete the 150 miles to the North Pole  and will complete their mission by flying the Wentworth Flag at the Pole.
If you would like to support Dennis and Alan please sign up here on this web site.  All monies raised will go to the Captain’s charity. Alan and Dennis have committed their own funding for this trek and so no charity donations will be used to pay for admin, travel or costs of any sort.

If you would like to follow our progress please log into the following web site which should be updated daily from April 8th:

Many thanks for your support.
