Well, that's it all over now thank goodness!

I managed to get round in a painfully slow time of 4hrs 42 mins and 17 secs.  The first 16 miles were fine and then my legs gave up on me.....but I ground it out and ran every last step of the way.  There's no way I was going to let down all my sponsors and start walking, but I certainly worked hard for it let me tell you.

I actually finished in 17,139th place which was in the top half of the field; not bad for a first timer.

So, a big thank you to everyone who sponsored me.  As you can see, with your support, I've raised over £3,000 for deaf children which is brilliant.

That's two targets I've got to beat next year!
