My personal message:

Derek Earl is running his 21st London Marathon this year (2008), raising money for the Chestnut Tree House Children's Hospice in Sussex.

At 72 years old, Derek runs a remarkable 50 miles a week. He has achieved a lot in his lifetime, including running from Lands End to John O'Groats. He lives in Hassocks in West Sussex.
