Thanks for visiting our fundraising page. We are lucky to be eight able bodied people that all enjoy sailing. Four of the team members are from the Gardner family who have sailed together for more than 20 years! We completed the race and came 686 out of 1,779 entrants. Not bad for beginners? Participating in this race was an amazing and exciting experience. It has given us the opportunity to give something back to those less fortunate than ourselves as well as our own personal achievement. The Lame Duck Club is a unique small group of sailing people from the East Coast of UK that have at some time rescued people, pets or what have you from the perils of the sea!
