Kerry, my 8 yr old daughter suffers from the condition known as Osteogenesis Imperfecta commonly referred to as 'Brittle Bone Disease'.

This means she is prone to spontaneous breaks of her bones without warning and cannot walk far without becoming very tired and experiencing intense leg pains, this normally results in her using her wheelchair.

This year, she is desperate to walk 3 miles for Pudsey.

3 miles is not alot for an average 8 yr old but for Kerry it is an immense challenge.

UPDATE:  Kerry SUCCESSFULLY completed her 3 miles...she had to stop once as the pain was becoming a bit too much for her, but the support on the road from passers-by really gave her that extra encouragement to carry on........she's so chuffed with herself but is completely shattered.
