On Nov 1st I will be taking part in my first Ironman distance triathlon out in Florida. An Ironman is a triathlon that consists of a 2.4mile swim, a 112mile cycle and finally a 26.2mile run. I am going into this with the hope of finishing the distance but secretly I would love to post a reasonable time.

However, I am allegedly a healthy individual going into the event whereas Jane Tomlinson suffered from an incurable form of Cancer while she completed 4 marathons, a full Ironman, 2 Half Ironmans and a cycle across America. It kind of makes any achievement by me seem quite inferior.
