In 2003, I was diagnosed with Leukaemia - thankfully, after 8 months of treatment I  have survived to tell the tale.  Sadly many of those that were treated with me did not.  This month, along with 12 friends I am completing a 140 mile "Coast to Coast" Bike Ride from Whitehaven to Sunderland to raise funds for Leukaemia Research.  This is in memory of my fellow patients who lost their battle to this and other blood cancers.
