It was my 40th marathon since I started running them in May 1980. It was my 1st marathon in the 55-59 masters age group and I finished in 3.55.43, a bit slower than I'd hoped but it was a very hot day.

I ran as part of Team ASICS and you can following my story in the next few editions (June & July) of the monthly magazine Running Fitness.
