St Luke's Hospice Plymouth provides end of life care in Plymouth, South West Devon and East Cornwall. It is the generosity of the caring community and people like you who enable over 300 people and their families at any given time access to this specialist support through the toughest of times.

Story

Ant and Etta are taking on the mission of biking (yes, it's true, we are actually training too) from the coast of North Devon (Ilfracombe) to the coast of South Devon (Plymouth) which is 103 miles in total over 2 days.  Not only will we be crossing Exmoor and Dartmoor but also many devon rolling hills..it's going to be pretty tough -

We are hoping to raise money for St Luke's Hospice in Plymouth where our mother, as Medical Director, has dedicated a life's work in developing the Hospice from a 4 bed Plymouth town house to a purpose built 20 bed hospice with both inpatient and out patient units. Although there is sadness caring for the terminally ill, there is also a lot that can be done to enhance the experience for both the patient and their family during the final days.

If you ever get a chance you should visit the Hospice as it has one of the most fantastic views over Plymouth Sound (the sea), a view that pretty much all the patients can enjoy.

It's gonna be hardwork, but with the family support crew we hope to fulfill our mission!

Thanks so much for sponsoring us
