March is Ovarian Cancer Awareness month, and we wanted to raise Awareness and Money for a charity very close to our hearts.

On the 13th March we held a Love Women Event in the DFID Bar. The night was a great success and thank you to everyone who helped in the run up to and on the night. Including everybody that came along, the bar staff who donated their wages, Lucy who painted a million nails and everyone who donated such generous raffle prizes. We had mini manicures and cosmopolitans, a chick flick medley and movie quiz., an amazing raffle lots of laughs-  all of which helped to raise a staggering £1066 pounds.

Friday was Karaoke night, people sang (both brilliantly and terribly - thats what it is all about!) and danced to raise more money for Ovarian Cancer Action.

In total the events in DFID have helped to raise £1242 for this very worthy cause  If you were unable to come to either of the events you can still buy pin badges at reception, or make a donation through this site which is safe and secure to do.
