CRY Sponsored Walk 2008 - 27 September

Please dig really deep and sponsor me online because your help means CRY can help more children and young people. Check out their website at www.cry.org.uk to see all the wonderful work they are doing and supporting in more than 15 countries. I should know - I work full time for the charity and have been visiting our overseas projects since 1994.

Projects like this cost money so I make no apologies therefore for asking you to sponsor me in the CRY Walk 2008 event taking place on 27 September 2008. I walked the full 20 miles last year (some in the rain!) and am doing the same distance this year. Visit the CRY Walk 2007 page to read the report from last year - over 400 adults and children took part. That's me on the right in the front row in the picture here.

I am still visiting the Wildern Leisure Centre Gym twice a week and will start fitting in some local walks. Also helps to keep my blood pressure down and improves my health generally ;-)

I managed to raise £280 last year, but I'm in faith for £500 this year.
