<p>As part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations Ruxley is delighted to be sponsoring a dinner in aid of ABF &ndash; The Soldiers&rsquo; Charity.&nbsp;</p> <p>As many of you already know, this charity is particularly dear to us all at Ruxley.&nbsp; Soldiers risk so much for us and inevitably there are fatalities and serious injuries.&nbsp; The ABF &ndash; The Soldiers&rsquo; Charity provides much needed assistance to serving and retired soldiers and their families.&nbsp;</p> <p>Over the last two years, the charity has seen a 30% rise in applications from soldiers who have taken part in previous and current conflicts.&nbsp; Help includes mobility assistance, care home fees and respite breaks.&nbsp; The Charity must increase its fundraising to be sure that it can help each soldier that needs help.</p> <p>The dinner will be held on Thursday 24 May at Prism Restaurant.</p> <p class="MsoNormal">You will see from the invitation that the other sponsors are Boodles, the fine Jewellery specialists and Prism, a Harvey Nichols Restaurant.&nbsp; Boodles has kindly donated a magnificent necklace which will be given away in the prize draw and will also be showcasing some of its jewellery which will be adorned on dancing girls!&nbsp; There will be all kinds of other things happening during the evening including a delicious three course meal with wine.&nbsp;</p> <p class="MsoNormal">We really hope that you, your friends and colleagues, will join us in celebrating the Diamond Jubilee and supporting such a worthwhile cause. &nbsp;</p> <p class="MsoNormal">If you are interested in purchasing tickets or a table, please call Katrina Holford on 07917 091633.&nbsp; I recommend you do this as soon as possible as tickets are selling fast!</p> <p class="MsoNormal">If you are unable to attend please dig deep and donate now.</p> <p class="MsoNormal">Thanks for taking the time to visit the Diamond Dinner JustGiving page.</p>
