Finally after 3 years of trying and 20 years of thinking about it I have a place in the London Marathon.  This is a life long ambition and although I know it will be hard,  I have the support from family and friends to do it.  I have run 3 half marathons the last of which was the Anglesey Half on September 21st so I am already half way there.

Some of you may know that my husband Johnny is in the T.A. having been a regular officer so my connections with the Forces are very strong.  My brother in law has just come back from his 3rd tour of duty.  I have strong connections with The British Forces Foundation as I know the Chief Executive and his sister is godmother to Emily, our daughter.
