My story
Thank you so very much for taking the time to visit my online "sponsor me" page thing.
As some of you know, my step father Ken passed away in April 2006 from a rare type of lung fybrosis. This was made all the more tragic as after more than a decade with my mother, he got sick just a few months after their marriage and died 8 months after the wedding day.
I have since done a few small things for the British Lung Foundation, a charity I really believe in. The support and information they provide is invaluable and while there are many great charities out there, this is one I am determined to do as much as I can to support them and raise lots and lots of money so that they can continue to do what they do.
On Sunday 13th April I am running the Flora London Marathon in support of the British Lung Foundation. Let's not beat around the bush here.... I am begging for your material, financial and moral support. If I can run 26 miles, I'm hoping you can find it in yourself to donate some cash. I want very much to reach my target of £3000 and then smash it, so please, help me to do this. If I can smash my target it will be worth all the pain (oh so much pain!), and if you are willing to do so, please don't hesitate to forward details on to people who may not even know me.... I will be happy to answer e-mails from anyone who thinks it's a chain hoax thing... I'm not going to be shy about this either... I need money!!!!
