Story

MANY THANKS to those of you who supported us. There are photos of the event (and Ashley looking very silly) on Flickr: http://bit.ly/waggywalkslondon

The Dogs Trust Digital Team is, erm, getting physical...

We might not be dog owners, we might not be runners - apart from Jacqui - but darn it, we can walk six miles for Dogs Trust!

On October 18th we'll slap on our comfiest shoes and take part in the Waggy Walks mass dog walk at Finsbury Park, London. Since the cats selfishly refuse to take part we'll be finding alternative companions; for example Alex has convinced Ashley to wear dog makeup and a collar and lead (humiliation for charity is allowed).

Dogs Trust takes care of over 16,000 dogs every year, finding them the homes they so richly deserve. The charity never puts a healthy dog down. Just £2.50 can feed a Dogs Trust dog for a week, so imagine what they could do with a little more than that! Then you could truly say your finances have gone to the dogs... arf, arf.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Dogs Trust is the largest dog welfare charity in the UK. We rescue and rehome dogs all over the UK (Ireland too). We never put a healthy dog down. We also promote responsible dog ownership through youth education, neutering and microchipping campaigns. A dog is for Life, not just for Christmas ©
